Activities & Outings
The children will experience a range of activities to allow them to develop their social, physical, intellectual, emotional and communication skills.
A variety of play and other activities, appropriate to their age and development stage, that give the children the opportunity to explore and find out about the world around them, while raising cultural awareness.
Play and other activities that allow children to experiment and see how various materials behave and can be used. I will encourage the children to learn to solve problems, think imaginatively and develop the seven C’s (confidence, communication, concentration, competence, cooperation, creativity and coordination).
Below are examples of some the activities that we will be doing both and home and out and about.
During the school holidays there will also be a few day trips to places like Techniquest, Folly Farm, Big Pit, Welsh Hawking Centre (I am alway open to suggestions if your child likes a particular venue). They maybe an extra charge to cover the cost of entrance for these but plenty of notice will be given. |
